Adenovirus is a non-enveloped double-stranded DNA virus that can infect the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, urethra and bladder, eyes, liver and other parts. About 1/3 of human adenoviruses of known serotypes are related to human diseases. One serotype can cause different clinical diseases, and different serotypes can also cause the same disease.

EB virus is one of the causes of many malignant tumors (such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma), mainly infecting the epithelial cells and B lymphocytes of the human oropharynx.
