SARS-Cov-2 Total Antibody Rapid Test Kit is a qualitative membrane-based immunoassay for the detection of total antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in whole blood, serum or plasma specimen. Anti-human IgG/IgM/IgA is coated in the test line region. During testing, the specimen reacts with SARS-CoV-2 antigen-coated particles in the test cassette. The mixture then migrates upward on the membrane chromatographically by capillary action and reacts with the anti-human IgG/IgM/IgA in the test line region, if the specimen contains IgG, IgM or IgA antibodies to SARS-CoV-2. A colored line will appear in the test line region as a result of this. If the specimen does not contain SARS-CoV-2 antibodies, no colored line will appear in the test line regions, indicating a negative result.
Store as packaged in the sealed pouch at room temperature or refrigerated (4-30°C).
1. The A Rapid Total Combined Antibody Test Kit for SARS-Cov-2 (ICA) has been tested for anti-influenza A virus, anti-influenza B virus, anti-RSV, anti-Adenovirus, HBsAg, anti-Syphilis, anti-H. pylori, anti-HIV and anti-HCV positive specimens. The results showed no cross-reactivity.
2. The following compounds have been tested and no interference was observed: 0.5 g/L Triglyceride, 0.2 mg/L Ascorbic Acid, 10 g/L Hemoglobin, 0.6 g/L Bilirubin and 6mmol/L Total cholesterol.
3. The total sensitivity is 93.69% (95% CI:87.55%-96.91%), total specificity is 98.94% (95% CI:94.22%-99.81%).
Wash the patient’s hand with soap and warm water or clean with an alcohol swab. Allow to dry.
1. Massage the hand without touching the puncture site by rubbing down the hand towards the fingertip of the middle or ring finger.
2. Puncture the skin with a sterile lancet. Wipe away the first sign of blood.
3. Gently rub the hand from wrist to palm to finger to form a rounded drop of blood over the puncture site.
4. Add the Fingerstick Whole Blood specimen to the test by using a capillary tube: Touch the end of the capillary tube to the blood until filled to approximately 10 μL. Avoid air bubbles.
